Vance Brand is an accomplished and award-winning American impression painter, and a signature member of the Pastel Society of America. He produces colorful landscapes and portraits in oils, pastels and encaustics. His professional career as an artist began 35 years ago when he pursued his passion for painting full-time. Brand graduated from the Ohio State University and attended the Arts Students League, the National Academy and Parsons all of New York City. He also completed a painting fellowship at the Johnson Studio Program. Brand's artwork has been featured in over 70 exhibitions, both in solo and group settings. His work has also been featured and reviewed by the Washington Post, Today Newspaper, American Artist, Southwest Art and Veranda Magazine.
